MR3即Maintenance Release 3，下面有Maintenance Release的解释，也就是说MR版本只是修复了一些bug后发布的小版本，没有添加什么新功能，稳定性更好。

Norton开头的通常是家庭版或个人版产品，需要激活和授权，如NIS、NAV、Norton GHOST等，
Symantec开头的通常是商业版或企业版产品，不需要激活和授权（安装即用，免费升级），如SCS、SAV、Symantec server backup等，

从2008年起（或许是误杀事件后），赛门铁克公司对产品线和界面进行了调整，
SEP是企业杀软的最新版，带防火墙和主动防御，
NAV2009"NIS2009是诺顿杀毒系列的最新版，用户根据需要进行选择，

就杀毒和防火墙方面来说，根据我近一年来的试用，家庭版和企业版产品都非常不错，赛门铁克公司对产品的优化做了很多工作，但是建议采用企业版，因为不需激活，免费升级，绝对正版！！！
